Which driver version are you running? We have over 800 Thinkpads with those adapters here. I haven't figured out which version is best yet, but 12.2 seems to be working fairly well for us.

As rnbarrett mentioned, we also turn the power management off, after having so many issues with that in the past with Intel adapters.
