Has anyone got experience of the RFExplorer spectrum analyser? Rfexplorer.com? I would be interested in user experience and usefulness for wifi design, deployment and troubleshooting.

If you are only interested in the Wi-F i2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the Metageek Wi-Spy is a better deal.   I have had 3 different units from them, including the 900 MHz (only) model, and I found them accurate and very useful.

Nothing like the 60 lb, $80k unit we had in the EMI compliance lab, but the reported power levels tracked nicely.
