    Hi,

    The Wi-Fi Alliance® has developed a new certification program for Ad-hoc networking operation called Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ IBSS with Wi-Fi Protected Setup™.

    But, for the purpose of current CWSP exam, it MUST be assumed that WPS cannot be used for ad hoc networking. Right?

    In fact there was a question in test pool on WPS that chooses one of the answers as "WPS is not supported on ad hoc".
