Open Source Video Streaming Solution

Experts,

Is there an open source video streaming solution out there? There are commercial solutions that will take a file and easily multicast to numbers of users or take a video input and do the same. Is anyone doing the same with open source? Naturally you will want something that will look good over wireless...

VLC is what we use when we do multiple multicast HD streaming demos. Keep in mind that if you multicast over Wi-Fi it won't work like you'd like it, of course it is Ruckus or someone that is illegally using Ruckus's patented technology. :)

I think I may have set a record for number of vendor plugs in two sentences.

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
