Close to airports - that's what you'd assume.

A new location we are looking at is a couple dozen miles from our current location, and a couple hundred feet higher in altitude. We don't see the airports Beacon signal at the old location just 2 miles from the airport, but the signal at the new one is good and strong.

While these are not microwave frequencies, I wonder what else we'll see at the new location - from the airport I mean. Plus we'll be closer to some other airports there too .
