    Thanks for prompt reply.

    I Agreed that "11g only mode" isn't even covered in the standards" and it is vendor specific to not allow 11b devices to associate and to communicate with other 11g devices at DSSS data rates.

    But as far as multicast is concerned, it is transmitted at highest possible basic rate. It will not go up to other supported non basic rate. Is it right??
