beacon frame & channel number

1. does that mean that the beacon frame remains exactly the same whatever the channel on the AP may be?
For 11b/g there is DS Parameter set to determine which Channel the AP is operating. For 11a, the channels are less interfering.. like it is easy to differentiate a signal at channel 32 and 36 by RSSI alone.
2. if I change just the channel on the AP, will the clients disconnect and then re-scan to find the new channel?
They will. Else its a bug.
