Hi,

Can anybody refer me any good which gives a good practical knowledge about Radio frequency management (802.11)?

The only value which i could get from driver is the RSSI value (Atheros Chipset) for doing RF management.

I have many questions in my mind..

1) How to measure noise in different channels ?
2) How to measure interference?
and many....more

Can anybody give me a good reference/references where i can get some useful information to solve the above questions?

Can anybody suggest me a best method how to measure CCA (Clear channel assessment) on Atheros chipset.

The measurement of CCA is required for 802.11h measurement report frames.CCA is the one of the best measurement to measure the quality of a channel.

Problem :Given a time (45 ms) - 5000 slots. I want number of slots busy in those 5000 slots.

Sol:One method is to calculate the NAV of all the received frames (promiscuos mode)

But this may not take noise into account...

Any good method........???
