Hi,

I have few questions about the stations behaviour....regarding the sequence number it uses....

From my observation..............Captured packets (From Station to AP)

(Packets from station to AP) Channel no:11,

Ping Reply....... Seqno: 1211 ..

Null data...........Seqno: 2033..

(Seqno wrapped)

Probe req.........Seqno: 1436.

Probe req.........Seqno: 2043..
Probe req.........Seqno: 2044...
Probe req.........Seqno: 2045...
Null Data..........Seqno: 2047..

(Seqno again wrapped)

Ping Reply.........Seqno:1227..

Can anybody tell me the stations behaviour regarding sequence number ?
Why the station is using sequence numbers out of order or hapazard manner.... Or it is because the station is sending probe request to other Aps and in different channels (hence seqno is incremented there) (active scanning).

Will station send so many probe requests so that the sequence number wraps out?

Will station use sequential number or any hapazard sequence number ?
