I would like to know abt the Document that you are referring to decide whether things work as per the standard /not. Are you reffering the IEEE
Document to decide on this. (Curious to know )
I have tested the scenario that you mentioned in your post ("Disabling and Enabling the Cards " ) with most of the APs .They all Accept the Auth Request from the station which didn't send a Disassociation /Deauth frame Earlier.
I should say thats this behavior actually Quickens the Association Process.
Generally speaking i dont find fault in this Behaviour.
If the AP doesnt Accept the Accept the Auth Request from the station which didn't send a Disassociation /Deauth frame Earlier ,think abt the amount of time a user has to wait .He has to wait until the AID is for the particular station is taken off ( AP will get to know that the STA has left after exhausting the Retry limits ).
I will be able to help you better if you gimme details abt the document that you are referring to decide if things act per standard /not.
