Thanks for your valuable information.
I have few questions over Barker preamble bit in 11g.
According to standard it is clearly mentioned that it will be set whenever a non-ERP station incapable of short preamble joins or.. when the AP/BSS is configured to allow only long preamble (i.e ShortpreambleImplemented is false)
But in devices such as Cisco the second condition is not realised.i.e When the Ap/BSS is configured for long only, the barker preamble bit is not set.
Only when a station either non-ERP/ERP connects to BSS the bit is set.
Can you please explain this inconsistency or anamoly?
