Can any one differentiate?

Wi-Fi functions only on Layers one and two. The layers are the same though. Wi-Fi uses collision avoidance vs. detection and has more arbitration. This is a function of media contention method not because of the layers involved. Wi-Fi is unbounded networking which requires more care in implementation and more overhead in it's use as well.

To piggyback on Bry's response.
when you think of the OSI model layer ... From layer 3 and up is all the same ... only layers 1 / 2 are different.
