Multiple Atheros chipset cards in laptop - driver problem

Here is a solution I used with my Meru EZcoverage planner using two Atheros chipsets NIC's:
The way to get two atheros driver to load different drivers is to rename the driver (sys) file and beat up the ?¡é?€??.inf ?¡é?€?? file to make it match the renamed driver.
Using the coverage planner as an example it has an .inf file named net5211.inf in the
C:Program FilesMeru NetworksDriversAtheros3.3.0.170 directory and a driver named ar5211.sys
Copy the Net5211.inf to JL-net5211.inf and ar5211.sys to Jar5211L.sys.
You edit the jl-net5211.inf to rename the reference to the driver to make it match. Remember to change the service name for your card ATHER.Service.DispName or it will b*tch about the name already being in use.
Now slide the card in and through windows tell it you want to upgrade the driver. Don?¡é?€??t let it search ?¡é?€?¡° tell it you have the specifics. Then point it to your
modified JL-net5211.inf file and let it run.
Hope this helps,
