What is the easiest way to measure AP to AP roam time?

I've just stood up a WLAN switch, and am verifying with the customer that client roaming works.

I have Airopeek SE, so I guess I could look for reassociate packets to the roam to AP, then....?

The problem I'm seeing is some ping -t timeouts from my laptop as I roam. I just don't think I should be seeing any timeouts for ping since the vendor advertizes the best in the industry.

Are you aware of an easy way to setup Airopeek for such a measurement?

My hunch is the roam time is greatly effected by client settings, stickiness and such, I just want to quantify it.
