Hello All,
I am preparing for CWAP. Not sure where to start from,I appreciate if you can provide links to reference material, books, lab guides etc, apart from CWAP study guide,to pass CWAP Exam.Thanks.

Hello khader,

Well, as someone told me, get to know the 802.11's inside and out!!! On the IEEE site you can download most of them.
I would get the CWAP book and go to the page on this site and work with the protocol analyzers, and if you can a RF analyzer.

I would say:

- CWAP Study Guide
- Download IEEE standards (and print the relevant sections, don't need some of the chapters)
http://www.ieee802.org/11/ and then search for
.g, .b, etc
- MUST get something like AiroPeek/prot analyzer

In terms of studying, gotta have working knowledge
of protocol analyzer outputs! :)

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
