I can understand that EAP is a protocol and not the entity that derives the MSK. I must agree with George though that the wording he pointed out from the CWSP study guide does seem a little misleading as it suggests that the EAP method used is what 'exports' the key to the supplicant and authentication server. This seems different from the supplicant and AS deriving it independently of each other via the EAP method used.
