What device(s) to prepare for CWSP exam ? [ PW0-204 ]

Hello All,
I understand that CWNP is a vendor neutral program, and there isn't any config-based questions in the exams. However, I feel the learning will be thorough if I do some good hands-on practice.
Am I right ?

If the answer is yes, please suggest device(s) that you have used to practice the concepts. In case some setup is required, please give the details too.

Is it a must to have DD-WRT supported device to practice the concepts ?

And, I should mention this: I have absolutely zero work-experience with Wireless, and I am ready to do anything that is needed to learn the concepts & pass the CWSP exam. And, it will be better if the cost is less, since there I am the 100% sponsor for book + exam + devices!

(my book is on its way, will take a few days to reach me. It has already travelled 14000+ miles, from the US to India !)

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
