Hi All,
I am about buying a laptop to use in preparation for CWSP (cannot risk using my current laptops for experimentations). Now my question is , what is the best OS to run all the softwares needed to prepared for CWSP. I see that the HotLab kit standardizes on Windows XP Professional. I just want to confirm if all the needed softwares now have Windows Vista versions, if not i will stick to hotlabs standard of Windows XP professional.

In our classes, we only use WinXP/sp2. We tried Vista for a while on some of our own laptops, but then "upgraded" to XP/sp2 once again.

Thank you Devinator for the valuable information. I will pick up the option with the XP Professional. I have being a bit interested about an open source solution like Ubuntu (remeber Hotlab laptop came with windows and linux dual preinstalled for the labs), but i do not have time for that experimentation now; maybe latter after passing CWSP.
