Hi :D ,
I am a beginner in Wifi and am bit confused with Pairwise Temporal Key(PTK) and Pairwise Transient Key.Or both the same or is temporal key derived from Transient key or vice versa.Please clarify :-? ..Can someone please help me with some resource or explanation how the process of supplicant,AP and AS works.

The Temporal Key (TK) is part of the Pairwise Transient Key (PTK). The TK is the 128-bit key used to encrypt data that gets sent on the WLAN. The PTK is actually 3 keys. The TK is one of those 3 keys.

If you are willing to shell out a few bucks, get the IEEE 802.11 Handbook, Second Edition. It has everything you want to know and more about the details of these protocols.
