Does anyone know the difference between peapv0 e peapv1 ( I am not talking about the inner protocol ms-chapv2 or eap-gtc ). Is there any big difference between the two specifications. Where can I find a paper that describes peapv1 ?
I know we have already covered this topic before but I could not find any good answer in the forum.
Thanks everyone. -
It is my understanding that the PEAP authentication framework is no different between versions v0 and v1. The difference is that EAP-GTC was not supported in v0 and Cisco created it in v1 or what is called PEAPv1/EAP-GTC. EAP-GTC was referenced in the original RFC (2284) outlining PEAP.

GTC is described in Point 3.6
