Compromise WEP key [ static/dynamic ] & Countermeasure

    Hi.

    suppose we need to obtain the WEP key for a certain WLAN transmission

    For static WEP,
    I guess we can capture enough pkts using sniffer and using tools like WEPCrack to obtain the static WEP

    For dynamic WEP,
    How do we capture the dynamic WEP?
    Assuming we need to enter the WEP key to conduct de-auth and de-association attacks?

    Besides
    1. Choosing constructing a strong WEP key
    2. using longest key length possible

    How can we prevent the WEP keys from being compromised?
