Hi All
We have a wireless network of Symbol WS5100's and AP300's running primarily 802.11g. We was told by TA from Symbol that if we use 802.11b on the network it will pull the whole network down to 802.11b speed. I know there is a little more overhead in the protocol to run a "b" on a "g" but cannot find any info to support that theory. We have even done a test with 2 devices side by side one "b" the other "g" on the same AP the "g" still showed 48Mbps. -
