Hi Folks,

i want to know how is the best way to use a ligthting Arrestor(LAR).

I have 1 AP with type N-FEMALE connector, 1 LAR is N-MALE to N-FEMALE and 1 Antenna with integrater 12" pigtail N-MALE conector.

Can i connect directly the LAR to the AP or is better if i use a pigtail N-MALE to N-FEMALE to connect the LAR to the AP?

What is better? or i dont matter how it connected?

We install the LA directly to the access point. Just make sure you read the install docs and see what gauge wire to use for the ground. I can't remember what gauge we normally use.

A little backwoods country trick - Take the cable and put a loop into it - this is useful for both when you have an LA or not.
