Has anyone noticed while using a 5.1-5.8GHz dual band antennas that the lower 5.2GHz range has a much stronger RSSI than do the higher 5.8GHz channels? I have tried using different mfg. antennas with the same results.
The difference is that the 5.2 GHZ channels have about 10-15 dbi better signal than the 5.8GHZ channels
I have measured the output power of my AP on the different channels but that only changes about 2-3db.
All the antenna specs show that the gain should be the same at the different frequencies.
