    We have for our thesis a proposal for a certain company that inludes the following:

    A WIRELESS LAN Proposal..
    1. Sun Fire X2100, running on a Linux-based OS, acting as a Mail server (internal), a proxy server and a DNS Server
    2. LINKSYS WIRELESS-G products : WAP54G Access Point, WUSB54G USB Wireless Adapter, WRT54G Broadband Router, and a WPS54G Print Server Device.
    3. a mail-hosting service provider
    4. a domain name hosting service provider

    is this project realistic and reliable???

    Unless it is a company of <10 employees and don't NEED consistent wireless, I would not use off the shelf equipment such as the Linksys. I'm not knocking Linksys per say, but it is not enterprise class equipment.
