The "A" radio's have been disabled since day one. I don't think they are still adjusting power settings automatically. We monitor them with WCS and it doesn't show them changing, but it's possible it could be happening and we don't know it. Also, Aironet IE has been disabled on each WLAN for some time now. We've also disabled MFP.

We configured the following on the controllers per Cisco TAC.

DTIM Period = 10
Disabled Short Preamble
Data Rates
1 Mbps Mandatory
2 Mbps Mandatory
5.5 Mbps Supported
6 Mbps Disabled
9 Mbps Disabled
11 - 54 Mbps Supported

We got our hands on a wireless sniffer yesterday so I hope to do some captures today.

Success Stories
