    Hi,

    This forum has been very helpful to me as I start to learn WiFi. I also want to learn about WiMax and have ordered this:
    Fundamentals of WiMAX: Understanding Broadband Wireless Networking

    I was wondering if any of you are aware of a certification forum like this for the WiMax 802.16 market.

    Hi dumbmick,

    Presently with the newness and increased activity within the WiMAX community (specifically WiMAX mobile ----802.11e), there is not a forum targeting certification topics as comprehensive and intensive as Planet3 Wireless' does with their certifications. However a Google on WiMAX360 may be of some help.

    You are right, WIFI and WiMAX are complimentary. Having a knowledge of both technologies is plain SMART.
