For those of you looking to try out a WNMS, here's a good one that has a "Personal" version that's free.

This is free is you only need to manage 3 APs and up to 10 nodes. Great for small businesses.

Unfortunately it is very heavy ( CPU Consuming ) for small business or home systems in my opinnion.

This is an interesting product. I'm doing consulting for businesses and education institutions and it's still a toss up as to whether to use thick/autonomous APs with a management tools like this or a centralized/swith/conttroller solution that makes the whole wireless system more proprietary.
In some cases, it makes sense to use the more expensive equipment but the traditional SOHO APs can, and often do, have enterprise features...
