channel frequency assignments in DSSS

I studied "CWNA Official Study Guide" (first and second edition) and now use it to teaching CWNA course. But I have some questions about this book. Now I want to ask one of this questions:

In chapter 3, Figure 3-5 (channel frequency assignments) represents that there are 11 channels in US standard and 9 channels in Europe standard for DSSS in WLAN. But in 802.11 standard (part 15) represents that there are 11 channels in US standard and 13 channels in Europe standard for DSSS in WLAN.

Why is differ beten 802.11 standard and "CWNA Official Study Guide" in this maner?

Hi A:

CWNAv2 study guide figure 3.5 is incomplete.

The corresponding CWNAv3 study guide figure 6.4 is corrected.

By all means, work from the latest available study guide.
