Thanks for clearing that up. I have done multiple (daisy chain) bridge links and throughput was not that degraded, especially when compared to a repeating solution. I just alternated channels and was cautious about antenna placement to avoid overload from the back lobes of the antenna pattern.
My concern for the PtoMP was eliminated when you mentioned that the physical RF path was to be just air. IMO, if you can have a quality signal strength with each access point client, it will not be a problem. If not I have seen hidden node types of problems occur for the more distant radios.
