I think you got it reversed,

From what I understand, the CWNA study guide tells us that lowercase letters are amendments and uppercase letters are "recommendation only". The CWNA practice test say the same.

However, the IEEE states that lowercase letters are for amendments (CWNA got that right), but uppercase letter are for **standalone standards**, so it shouldn't be for amendments... something the CWNA failed to take into account, I guess.

Someone, please correct me if what I said isn't right either...
