Fade margin is defined as the amount of signal power above the sensitivity of the receiver.
Let's suppose that my receiver sensitivity is -80dbm, my receiving signal power is -60dbm and my noise floor is -70dbm.
What is my fade margin ? If I have to follow exactly the definition I would say it is 20db but I think that in this case I should look at the noise floor instead of the receiver sensitivity.
Can you crarify this concept, please.
Thanks you.
