    Sorry, no. This was a odd problem that showed up last December. Received confirmation that it was some sort of Intel issue and that a fix was in progress. This was at a previous employer and the issue was resolved with a firmware upgrade.

    Recently, I received a request from someone on the net that was experiencing the same problem and I was just wondering how prevalent that was. I was surprised to see the problem was still around and felt the CWNP crowd might be a good crowd to discuss this rare issue with.

    Needless to say, we were very surprised that a datalink (l2) issue could cause a PC to bluescreen on startup! The only way to bypass the bluescreen was to turn off the wireless card via the hardware switch or BIOS...

    In 15 years of networking, I had never seen that and it's surprising that XP wouldn't have better protection...
