    I am not familiar with the details of how a WIPS constructs a deauthentication frame. When the WIPS works (the client is classified prior to attempting to associate) do the AP and the WIPS send an authenticate and a deauthenticate simultaneously?

    Is the deauthentcation frame spoofed as if coming from the AP to the client or the other way around?

    When the WIPS does not work (the client is classified after it has been associated to the AP) does a sniffer trace indicate a lack of a deauthentication frame?

    What WIPS are you using?
