I have successfully surveyed 25 square miles completely using AirMagnet's Surveyor Pro with a GPS unit and a magnetic mount antenna. Worked fantastic! A 100' bucket truck hoisted the battery, inverter, access point, and antenna to installation heights for each tower/survey location. Two weeks of driving yeilded tons of data, pushed my laptop's RAM utilization to over 1GB (and AirMagnet never crashed).
