hey .. i got a question..

if you got 6 Ap which having WDS function and all are enable the bridge function but after everything configure done.. why the Client cannot get any IP from the Router ? as i know if we enable the WDS function.. the wireless signal will reduce to 50% .. correct me if i am wrong....

pls advise me...

the WDS is a wireless distribution system and it can connect your 6 ap's with each other by entering the mac address in each ap, so you must enter the 6 mac address to connect with each other and get IP's

hey,

for that theory, i knew about it.. just wonder if the 1 is Router , 2nd AP i will connect the MAC address from the Router and 3rd Ap i will connect the MAC address from the 2nd AP .. correct me if i am wrong...;) juz that after i have did that... the Client cannot take the IP address.. and basically that some of the router doesnt provided to mac the mac address.. some are only using Site Survey to Choose it.. isnt it ?
