Some of the Small network Swicth solutions options that are available out there are the Colubris, Trapeze, NetGear ( Trapeze rebrand) and Bluesocket BSC400 with version 5.0 firmware provides most of the WLAN switch features including their own thin AP1500.

all of the above may be a potential solutions for your small building environment. I have used both the Trapeze and Bluesocket solution and are relatively low cost solutions. Each are designed for a limited number of users/ AP.

Both of the above solutions will also work with thrid party access points.
