I purchased the CWNA Official Study guide second edition some time ago. I am currently preparing for the exam but want to have the most recent reference material possible. I don't want to purchase the third edition of the Study Guide, since most of the material would be included in the second edition.

Are there some release notes that specify the additions to the third edition of the CWNA Study Guide?

It's more like 30-40% at best. The 3rd Ed. of the CWNA Study Guide covers the new exam objectives. The 2nd Ed. does not.

You'd be much better off purchasing the new study guide. It is a minimal investment if you look at the bigger picture, and is an excellent resource, even after you've completed your certification.
