"G" Cost and backward support!! G$ are just above B$. But what will they do when 802.11n comes out :)

Backward compatibility is very important. Not sure if 802.11n will be backward compatible with 802.11g/b. If it does then it will be sucessful for new implementations.

All new devices that I see in homes are g.

For the past year or so I have been doing mostly dual radio APs. 2.4Ghz for voice and 5Ghz for data.

Us not in the US have our choices cut down a bit. The UK for instance doesn't allow 11a. So, only B and G ever get seen, and G is the option of choice.
