Resource can be remote for position; there will be 75-100% business travel which will be expensed. This is a long term Contract-to-hire opportunity with one of the largest IT companies in Texas.

[b]Job Responsibilities:[/b]
Conduct Standard Wireless Assessments within the Healthcare Industry across multiple US locations. Surveys will account for voice, data, and RTLS readiness. Formulate new procedures and coordinate WLAN software and hardware installations. Document engineering standards and proposals/ recommendations for all WLAN capabilities. Draft design documents and implementation plans per project as needed. Research, analyze, plan, design, and install WLAN systems. Collect and assemble data, prepare reports, monitor progress, and analyze data. Responds to RFP?s and engages in project scoping/sizing calls with internal sales teams and with clients.

[b]Required Skills:[/b]
? 8+ years minimum Wireless LAN experience
? Must have experience with 802.11a /b/g/n data, voice, and RTLS networks
? Must be familiar with multi-vendor WLAN solutions
? Ability to adapt style to divergent situations
? Ability to respond to RFP?s and engage in project scoping/sizing efforts
? Demonstrated proficiency in researching, analyzing, planning, designing, installing and maintaining Convergence systems
? Demonstrated proficiency in communicating both orally and in writing with business and technical audiences
? Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service and organizational skills

[b]Desired Skills:[/b]
? Experience with PC based tools and products such as Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, etc
? Familiarity with AirMagnet products ?SurveyPro, WiFi/VoFi analyzers
? Project Management experience.
? Bid and proposal experience

[b]What are the three to five primary responsibilities of the position? [/b]
Certified Wireless Network Administration (CWNA) desired
Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA) desired
Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) desired
