I found a company that many chip manufacturers use. The companies name is LitePoint. It looks like they do a great job if you are a PC, radio chip, or telephone mfg. that wants to "calibrate" your radio. It is only a PHY level tester however, and it does not send or receive radio traffic.
I am still looking for a setup to test devices with embedded radios quickly, that will tell me if they are getting good range and throughput. Too many times, an RF cable can come loose - and still xmit/rcv at close range. Or a cable could be poorly routed in comparison to its antenna, and the radio will have poor range once in service.
