Power save failure?

    In Legacy Power save, when the STA wants to go into PS mode it sends a null data packet with "Power management" bit set as 1.


    No, that is a propritary Power management method and also a method used to buffer frames when stations go probing off-chanel". This thread should answer your question:

    Is there any scenario/condition where the AP can deny STA from going into PS mode or it has to ACK it always??


    Not that I have ever seen.
