AP situations?

    I have installed many brand APs in different locations for outdoors.Does these devices (ex. D-Link DWL-900AP+, USR 5450) work in different power levels or different receive sensitivities on AP,AP Client,Bridge,Multipoint Bridge and repeater modes. Cause i have many situations like two same brand APs (USR 5450) won't work in AP-AP Client mode but work in Bridge-Bridge mode or vice versa. Anyone please explain me these situations?
