FYI
The initial link was comprised of two 1300 Cisco bridges with 16db yagi antenna. It turns out that a fresnel radius at 2 miles would be approximately 19.7 feet. The link was for all intents unusable, constant drops and low throughput.
We upgraded the link to 1400 Cisco Bridges at 5 GHz and calculated the fresnel with this equipment at approximately 12.8 feet...
Apparently the extra several feet (above the obstruction) is enough to have this link averaging 20 Mbps... and rock solid
