Our board and my boss are questioning why we have an Acceptable Use Policy for Internet, email, and all of our other applications. One of them is a lawyer, and she feels that such a policy, which I just wrote a month ago (it's four pages long), is antiquated and cumbersome. They're not going to take my word for it, so where can I obtain some kind of authoritative information on this that non-technical executives will respect?
