Make sure that the AP's regulation domain is enabled on 5508 controller. you can find that under wireless->country and check the box for which the AP's regulation domain is for.
-
- On a 5508 go to "Wireless" Tab and then left menu look for "802.11a/n"
- Once you expand it you will see multiple options one option is "High Throughput (802.11n)
- Click on it and now on the right you will see an option "11n Mode". Check that box and choose the Data rates (default is all are supported) and that is it.
- NOTE: Make sure you do this under "802.11a/n - 5GHz" and NOT under "802.11b/g/n - 2.4GHz" if you want to accomplish this for 5GHz.
