As you've no doubtedly read by now, the Ipad looks fairly disapointing from an "n" standpoint.
I can't tell you the real benefits from a real world perspective, but the WMM algorithms, along with its PS abilities, look pretty good. Getting QOS and PS working together succesfully is not a simple task, and WMM-PS has had lots of effort put into it.
I am sure someone at the WFA must have run some interesting simulations, but I have yet to actually see any details.
If WMM-PS really takes off, I'm sure my company will be a big supporter as we sell scads of mobile products - although our devices are decidedly neither affected by long latency nor do they require high throughput.
