Sometimes the various vendors forget their systems have to run with other needs on the Wireless LAN. I have seen the combination of voice and location tracking might have mutually exclusive design parameters.

The voice might need to have two APs at -67dBm and the fourth AP no more than -85dBm. Whereas the location tracking needs to see at least 5 APs at stronger than -85dBm... what to do?

On top of those differences in design, sometimes the 'extra' APs needed for proper triangulation add even more co-channel interference (increasing the 'collision domain' on a given frequency) making the voice even more problematic.
