So I did a site survey last week and found some microwave ovens. They were peaking at about -53dBm at 100'. Not good considering that the facility was about 240' and the ovens were in the middle. :( So, I am suggesting that they have the ovens replaced. I check the manufacture date and it was from May '07. I am concerned this will reoccur however as the ovens are at hip level and likely get abused. Is there any hope? Should I recommend that they replace them with toaster ovens and hot water dispensers? Or is there any other cost effective solution that anyone has successfully used? Or has someone actually made a non-leaky microwave? Yeah, I didn't think so.
