Thanks for the response Joe! We had a great meeting the all the parties and basically laid out all the risks and trade-offs that the hospital would have to accept. The wireless back haul vendor really hadn't done there home work and I think the customer saw that. We through out the possibility of using licenses spectrum and they we happy to entertain that as an option. It looks like they may go to 24 GHz or 60 GHz. I wasn't aware of the 60 GHz being used in these PtP connections. I wonder if this will affect the adoption of 802.11ac? Thanks again that give me a lot of reassurance that this we took the correct steps.
